SYNOPSIS
Professor Jason Carr agrees to have his DNA tested to look for the telltale markers of what appears to be an oncoming dementia diagnosis. A shocking revelation in the results compels him to return to the decommissioned American military base in Germany where he lived in the late 1980s. As a graphic design historian and researcher, the trip also enables him to visit a monastery in the Eifel mountains of Germany to continue his study on Gothic typography and transcendent messaging. When confronted with a crossover of medieval history, the complexity of the 20th century war years, and reckoning with decisions from his own path, he has to choose between what to keep secret and what needs to be told.
